Autism Testing for Adults in
Seattle, Washington

Learn about your brain. Feel understood beyond a label.

Life in Seattle offers contrasting dynamics: quiet, serene moments in nature and vibrant, energetic city experiences. There are countless opportunities for places to go and opportunities to explore. But sometimes the demands of daily life itself can feel overwhelming. Do you experience sensory overload in public places or have difficulty navigating social interactions with co-workers and friends? Do you feel pressured to mask your authentic self in order to keep up in a society that wasn’t built for your nervous system? You might have wondered if you could be neurodivergent or on the autism spectrum.

The Autism Spectrum is about more than just social challenges or diagnostic criteria. It is a natural variation of brain development that involves a particular cluster of traits and behaviors, including many strengths. Unfortunately, the Autism Spectrum is misunderstood by many, often including healthcare providers. When Autism is misunderstood, misdiagnosed, or missed entirely, this can lead to increased depression, anxiety, burnout, and treatment plans that miss the mark.

Dr. Parker provides comprehensive autism evaluations for adults in Seattle, WA using evidence-based assessment processes. She prioritizes getting to know each client on a deep level, integrating developmental history, current functioning, strengths, environment, support needs, test results, and collateral information.

Every evaluation client at Rooted Self Psychology receives a written report of the findings, a dedicated one-on-one feedback session to explain results and answer questions, and individualized recommendations designed to be practical and useful in your daily life.

Comprehensive Autism evaluations are $3,000.

  • 50% due at the intake session (minus the $500 deposit).

  • Remaining 50% due at the last testing session.
